That was an interesting scene to come home to, the goddess thought to herself, as she rounded a corner, on her way to more familiar settings. (The hotel room that had been set up for her was nice, yes, but it was nothing compared to the outdoors, even in winter.)
Persephone paused at the alleyway, taking in the sight with her hand on a hip. Tonight she was in a generous mood and, in a way, Starfire had done her a favour. That was one less small gang to encounter on her trips about the city; not that they weren't easily dispatched, mind, but they were certainly annoying at the most.
"Do you require assistance?" She asked, an eyebrow raised.
Blinking still glowing eyes, Starfire turned at the sound of a new voice but as she saw that the new comer was not apart of the group she had detained the glowing slowly eased from her eyes. Tilting her head in curiousity, she glanced over the other female. "I believe not. I will drop them off at the station of police."
The goddess studied the other girl carefully. The mention of the police station -- this kid must be a hero. Persephone herself would have just dispatched them in various states of injury or dismemberment, mood depending.
She waved a hand dismissively. "No one can say I did not try."
Still curious, Starfire fiddled with the hem of her shirt while studing the other girl for a moment. "You are not afraid of walking in the darkness...alone?" Of course Starfire wasn't either, but to her that was completely different. This other girl looked...normal. Was she a person with powers that did not show? "It is most dangerous in the alleys. You must be utmost careful."
"What is in this world cannot hurt me." And what could was far scarier than a few thugs who wanted jewelry. "Thank you for dealing with those; it will be something I can avoid later."
"Absolutely nothing can hurt you? Well that certainly explains why you are unafraid to walk in the dark." Starfire glanced down when she heard one of the men moan and start to stir. Though she would much rather stay and talk to the unknown girl about how nothing could hurt her, maybe she was able to turn herself into a giant shield or something, but she needed to get these theives off the street. "I must take these men to the station of police." She reached down and though she did not seem to look able enough, she managed to lift all three up by the rope connecting them. It was as she was starting to take off that she paused and looked back to the other girl. "My name is Starfire of the Teen Titans. It is very nice to meet you."
She wasn't impervious to everything, per say, but like she was going to let this girl know that. With a shrug, she replied, "I am Margaret. Pleasure to meet you as well, I assume."
Still Starfire hesitated as it was against her better judgement to leave the girl all alone in the dark alley, even if she did claim to be immune to hurt. Catching a lip between her teeth she did a quick mental debate but soon her good nature won, "Would you care to come with me? I can then see you safely home. It would not take but a snap of a minute to drop these males off."
