Not many can get River's thinking out in words and do it well. I really did feel like I was watching from her eyes here.

My rule of thumb with River is to keep it all stream of consciousness; seems to be working so far - even though the broken grammar rules make me a little crazy. ;-P

Lovely job, perfect River voice, and Dean too. I love this interaction, and that she is paired with Sammy, at that stage in her life it makes sense she would be more drawn to him.

River is such a challenge for me to write (the longer story that precedes this one drove me crazy, she's hard to maintain for over 3,000 words) that I'm thrilled she came across effectively. (I'd be a little embarrassed if my Dean voice was off at this point. ;-P)

And, yep, Sam/River is my crossover OTP.

I got a Dean Sam River crossover thing chapter of a longer fic called 42.5 freckles. Man, do we think alike or what?

Oh... Some days I worry that I'll never finish some of my WIPs by 2010.

Given that Penny has pretty much given me notice that I'm writing a Gobsmacked story once I'm done with the Dean in college AU...and Beth (wee little Beth) has been in limbo since April.
