I never fail to be in awe of how realistically you capture the relationship between Dean and Penny. Considering Dean's lifestyle, there are bound to be ups and downs and not everything's going to be bliss. For that reason, these fics are absolutely beautiful.

I've loved this line since its appearance in "Though Hearts...", but I'm not sure I commented on it. It's so well-suited to Dean as a character. And of course I'm reading into the deep angst of the guy -- how he probably thinks he's unworthy of having a girl who cares about him, a girl who cries when he's gone...
I'll be looking forward to part two. And I'm sure that once it's out there, you'll find you had no reason to worry about it at all.. ;)

I've been trying hard to show the ups and downs of the relationship, and this story in particular pretty much hinges on the issues that they have trying to relate to each other's situations. I mean, it's not easy for him in her world, either. And I wanted to show that...

No, that's definitely part of the issue. I think he had similar problems with Cassie, for the same reason; that he wasn't good enough.
I'll be looking forward to part two. And I'm sure that once it's out there, you'll find you had no reason to worry about it at all.. ;)
