I grant the request of whomever comes to me first. Your mother asked that if anything should happen, she wanted you to have the sword. I tried to grant your request to the best of my abilities--which involved, of course, the replica Ginryuu--so that you may keep your promise to your father.

Your mother was a very respectable woman, and as a fellow miko, I wanted her wish to be honored. I'm sorry if you felt that I might have lied to you, Kurogane, but it was a matter of trying to work around the wishes I was given.
