WHO: Doumeki, Watanuki [open?]
WHAT: Delayed birthday wishes
WHERE: Moving from Yuuko's shop to the temple
WHEN: The weekend after Doumeki's birthday
Watanuki was fiddling nervously with the corner of his apron as he sat in the kitchen. Hopefully Yuuko-san was appeased enough with the snacks and he would be able to just leave when--er, gods, that'

With a grumpy, not really serious frown and a 'hmph', Kimihiro pulled away and stalked over towards the table--carefully setting down the tray and busying himself with fixing the arrangement of the vegetables and meat on the tray before moving back into the kitchen. He grabbed the skillet, searching for a moment for a heater to place it on.
After that was set up on the table, the bespectacled boy finally turned back towards Doumeki, holding a bottle of oil and two small bowls for sauce in either hand. He frowned, studying the other male for a moment. Why does he always have such a stupid expression on his face? Watanuki wondered briefly. The boy leaned in closer, frown deepening in thought ( ... )

Shizuka watched Kimihiro drop on the chair and noticed how tired the seer looked in the dinning room light. There was a lot of things they could do, but today was also a normal and tomorrow school would come again and that only meant one thing:
"Homeworks" he said flatly, putting their school bags on the table. Although he didn't really needed to study, Doumeki thought that it was a very neutral activity to do, one that wouldn't make Watanuki nervous, one that would make the archer think about something else than how tempted he was to simply pull the pale teen on his lap and kiss him until they both couldn't breathe.

And when Doumeki suggested what they should do for the rest of the evening, his face deadpanned. "Homework? You want to do homework on your birthday?" Not that... he ever really did anything different. In fact, he probably would be doing the exact same thing on his birthday. Dinner, cleaning, homework. Oh, unless Yuuko-san decided to harass him like she did last year. That wasn't too bad fun. (Make up your mind, Watanuki).
With a shrug, he rose to his feet. "Then I'll make some tea and snacks," he decided, automatically moving back into the main part of the kitchen.

"You have a better suggetion?" he shrugged. Truthfully, he would preferred to do something else than homework, it didn't matter to the archer. As long as he was spending time with Watanuki, doing other things than chasing away monsters and spirits, he didn't care what boring activities they could be doing Although he could think of more fun activities to do. Which would probably end up with Watanuki flailing and flustered.
Shizuka watched Kimihiro leave for the kitchen again and then settled himself in front of his physics textbook. Opening it, he leaned his head on one hand, the other holding his pen, flickling randomly on the table from time to time.
