Sakura had made sure to choose a day when she knew Syaoran would have stayed longer at school to practice his swordfight. And she had wanted to wait until Watanuki had felt better. He was so often flushed at school, especially after he seemingly disappeared around the school ground at the same time as Doumeki-kun that the princess had wonder if he had gotten worse.

But today, the exorcist had archery club (she had heard from a group of blushing and giggling girls), and she had taken the opportunity to invite Watanuki over. The picnic was arriving faster than she thought and she really wanted to make chocolates for Syaoran. She might have to save some for her brother, as a peace offering so that she could at least sit at the brown haired boy.

She brought over two aprons and gave one to Watanuki as she nodded, smiling brightly:

"Hai! I'm ready!"

Watanuki slipped the apron on over his head, tying it skillfully behind his back and adjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose before stepping behind the counter. He took a moment to look around the kitchen, trying to familiarize himself with where everything was at a glance.

"Is this your first time making chocolates, Sakura-chan?" he asked curiously. He had made lots of chocolate desserts before, but had only attempted to make chocolate to actually give to someone only twice before. "It's not that hard once you get the hang of it, but it might take awhile before we get a batch that is good enough to give out."

He stepped towards the fridge, pulling it up and investigating its contents before reaching in. "Can you get the bowls out, Sakura-chan?" The boy placed what he had drawn out on the counter, then retreated back to where he had left his bag on the chair. "And I brought the cocoa beans," Watanuki said, drawing out the bag of them and a piece of paper with the recipe on it.

Putting on her apron, she walked to the bowls and started to take them out and put them on the counter.

"Hai....it is....I've never made chocolate before....I....." she mumbled, "I...never had anyone to give them to." She hid her blush by turning around to get the required ustensiles. She had watched Fay work the cocoa beans, and knew they would need to grind them.

"To....Tomoyo-chan mentionned that you had a special someone to give out your chocolates to. Is.....Is Himawari-chan your special person?" she asked, knowing how the other would get flustered and overact a bit around the balck haired girl. She risked a side glance at the young man, hoping she had not overpass the privacy boundaries their friendship had.

"So this is going to be a very special time for you, hmm?" he asked with a kind smile, pouring the beans into a pan and turning around to the large roaster in the back of the work area. "I'm glad you're able to give some chocolate to Syaoran-kun, though!" Watanuki set the temperature to 300 and turned around to look at Sakura.

Stuttering, she had asked who he was going to give the chocolates to. "Hi-Himawari-chan... Haha..." The boy gave an awkward laugh, scratching the back of his head and walking over to the counter to play absently with the cocoa beans. "No..." he admitted, a faint blush across his own face. "I will be giving something to Yuuko-san and Himawari-chan, but no... the chocolates are for someone else..." His voice dropped to an embarrassed mutter.
