College football is finally here.

Over eight months ago, Hunter--a mere six days old--and I watched our first Michigan football game together, the thrilling win over the heavily favored Florida Gators in the Capital One Bowl. Today, we'll watch our second.

I was reading back through my journal from 2006/2007...those horrible months after everything fell apart, after Tom. I noticed that you were a very big help and a very big supporter through it all. I wanted to take the time to Thank you, its been three years since that awful time and things have changed so much. I stil struggle with infidelity but its much different and I have a much different perspective of it all. I am so thankful for you support during those days, it was the support of people like you that kept me writing.
And by the way...you were right when you said "You will stop missing him"
I no longer miss Tom, he is only on my mind every so often and its a simple sadness that I remember him now not the deep longing pain I felt three years ago...:)

Thank you for taking the time to thank me, it's nice to know I was able to help in a way (not that anyone can really help all that much). I'm glad to hear that you're healing, it's just one of those things that takes time.

I too continue to struggle with infidelity but at least I'm not so emotionally devastated the way I--and you as well--once was. Of course, offering encouragement to you was all part of my healing process as well, so you helped me, too. Maybe one day we'll each be completely happy and content.
