Christmas day was very good. Got up early (11am) thanks to brother and door bell, although I was fairly glad as it meant we all got to unwrap our presents before going off to my Grandmas for lunch. I got a whole host of goodies. Lots of fudge (mmm fudge), Dvd's, make up, jigsaws (as a family we got five of them!!:0o) and a really cool bag from

Sorry about your wisdom teeth! You know I'm in the same boat, of course. But just to let you know, my oral surgeon did tell me that the wisdom teeth that are partially broken in, but still have gum covering part of it, are the most prone to infection, because bacteria can seep down under the gum and cause infection. So it might be a good idea to see your dentist and get an x-ray of your wisdom teeth to see how they look and how hard it would be to get them out. The younger you do it, the easier it is, apparently. And if you do have an infection rinsing your mouth with warm salt water should help some, but you might need to get some oral antibiotics too. I have to take a week's worth of antibiotics before mine come out, just to cut out any risk of infection.

I too think a trip to the dentist sounds like a good idea. It's getting decidedly worse...joy, deep joy. I think I'll try and get in tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

I'll try the salt water! thanks :0). I tried TCP earlier and like a prize idiot forgot to dilute it first and drank it straight from the bottle...wont be doing that again any time soon! At least I can't go wrong with salt water ;0).
I hope your wisdom teeth are behaving at the moment, blumming things!

No one wants to x-ray mine though, not sure why... I'd support the idea of you going to the dentists as well, better to have these things checked out especially if they're looking nasty.
Ermm there was something else to say, but I can't remember what sorry :S

I have one more to go after this one and I will be so glad when the damn things are done. No wonder babies cry so much when they are teething! I'm sorry you have to go through the misery of wisdom teeth too. *hugs*
