 I realized I was just barely surviving
on cloud 3

so I asked for a sign

and it began to rain on me

and it just rains

and rains

and rains

on me

cloud 3 doesn’t really float

it just merely coasts

doing only

exactly what it takes

to stay

somewhere between cloud 9 and

a cold hard place

if it weren’t for you I’d have both feet

planted firmly on the ground

instead
