BTW: citi/capital one. Don't get ones with rewards. If you keep failing, get ones with a yearly fee...they suck but it's better than nothing.

don't, providian is evil, never heard anything good about them.

You also might want to get a checking account if you don't have one already.

Also, try to get one of your parents to co-sign on a gas station card, sunoco or shell.
