Something about gay movies:

Some of them are so cliche and unreal that it makes it hard to look at during some scenes. Prime example: Get Real. This is the stuff that inspires bad fanfiction, but only with a sad ending. The movie was made some time ago and it shows.
Others make me whimper and sigh with love. Like Shelter (of course!) en Newcastle.

Yep, Shelter and Newcastle are on my to-buy-list as well. But I have to wait untill I'm in Belgium. Because they don't have them here and for some reason I'm scared they'll get lost in the mail when I order them online (or that the mailbox of this appartement will be too small or for whatever paranoiac reason I can think of).
