I have PSP9 for about a week now, and I tried your tutorial, but for some reason the raster layers won't work with me. I made them with the colors and such you said, and the visibility button is on. It's just like in your layer table, but it doesn't show in the picture. Do you know if there might be something wrong with the settings or anything?

There must be something going on with all the psp9 programs at the moment; mine just recently stopped adding the outline colours to my text. But anyway, the only thing I can think of is maybe it's the other visibility setting you may have accidentally clicked; firstly there's the one that either shows or block the foreground/background colours on the colour pallete, or there are the eyes in the layers table. If there are red lines stroked through the little eyes in the layers table, that also blocks the visibility.

Would it be possible for you to take a screen cap of your picture in the program? ((press "Print Screen / Sys Rq" on your keyboard)). Maybe if I saw what your current screen looks like I may be able to help you better

I have made some screencaps, only the language is Dutch , but I think other than that it's the same as the English version...

This is a screencap of my layers table with the first raster layer added: http://www1.speedyshare.com/data/538738687/1737531/9018641/layers+table.JPG
And one of the raster layer settings: http://www2.speedyshare.com/data/429197551/1737650/6168078/New+raster+layer.JPG

The eyes aren't checked, maybe it's the other thing? Where can you see if the foreground/background colors are blocked?

Thank you very much for helping me.

Ah, now I know what's going on. Here, click this link; I think I covered all of it ((I was able to do the last example cause my functions started working again; strange computer XD)). It's pretty big so I hope your computer can take it, and you'll have to click it to enlarge it ((yeah, you'll need to)). Warning: Bit of a spelling and grammar issue in it, whoops.

Sure! I'm not exactly sure what the problem might be ... Are you creating a new Raster layer?

Yes, or whatever the tut up there says.

"Fill new layer with "whatever number" color. I know how to create a new layer, just not how to fill it in PSP.

Thanks.
