I feel kind of bad for Kouga, not getting to stick around for Naraku's demise. Buuuut, I was also a little worried that the might get killed off, so in the sense that he gets to avoid that, the chapter makes me happy.

Yeah, getting killed off was a very real option there. I'm happy that they all made it!!!
