Foregrounding the Gate and the brutal police/protestors in the composition and through more intense colors worked well here. The thematic connection between both elements is made clear. Then, the background --a more softly-colored city scape with some brighter elements(are those cameras for observation?) gives further context to the protest event shown here. A too apt correlation with RL events, with protestors in a number of countries being trampled b police/military brutality.

This is very cool. I particularly like the shadows and colours that you've used to create the cityscape (or what I took as one, anyway! *g*), in various states of ruin, and the placement of the outstretched arms, open palms... it's powerful. Great artwork.
