By now, I'm sure you've all heard about the massive attack Hamas launched against Israel from the Gaza Strip. How FUCKING stupid do you need to be to ever "think" this was a good idea? The really bothersome thing to me is that Israel apparently *didn't see this coming* at all.

Has Gaza ever NOT been a terrorist enclave right next door to its primary target?

I remember pictures of K-12 teachers with rifles (carbine-size) standing alongside their students in public outings (field trips); women on the beach in a bikini, but with an M-16 or M-4 slung over their backs. How could that level and depth of vigilance degrade into such careless complacency?? Israel should've been stacking the Gaza-raider bodies like cordwood when the first one of those technicals started revving its engine.

I've been wondering that myself, and I just can't figure this out. We have yet another intelligence "failure". Fifreen points of incursion, Iran's giving aid and training, how could that happen and no one noticed? Furthermore, just how do so many rockets find their way into Gaza?

"How could that level and depth of vigilance degrade into such careless complacency??" Did it, or was this by design? How could the Pals be so stupid as to allow themselves to be used as pawns in someone else's agenda? Was this an accident or an on purpose? Inquiring minds want to know.

I remember a long time ago it was revealed that Hamas/Hezbollah/etc had been using humanitarian aid funds to make tunnel networks underneath...anywhere they could.

Tunnel networks would make the transport of weapons/munitions/agent provocateurs a cinch, assuming the network had branches into Gaza, anyway.
