Last year, I was largely disappointed by the NaNoWriMo Forums for a multitude of reasons. One being the extreme fail that was the 30 Covers in 30 Days thread. The premise was amazing and I was super excited to see it through to the end. Every year, I set myself a little list of goals to accomplish for NaNo. Sometimes they're detailed [last year, they were detailed]; some years, they are simply: "Get 50k and survive working at the same time" [that was 2008 and probably this year].
