oh, thank you! I thought I was the only one who liked it. :)

I've seen a lot of complaint that the Damon and Jeremy relationship hasn't been earned, but I think it has been! Also, Damon = awesomesauce, so.

I agree, imo it has been well developed and earned. I am not much into fandom, so I don't really know what they say lol

The importance of family in this show is one of the biggest draws for me, too. The Damon & Stefan scenes were just ideal in so many ways!
I'm glad that both Damon and Elena were involved in helping Stefan and was thrilled when Damon made the right choice and told Elena about Bonnie. That was also such a strong Damon/Jeremy moment. That bromance takes the sting out of the absence of Alaric.

I love that this show can still bring me to tears with the genuine emotion. I never thought I'd feel this much at saying goodbye to Bonnie, but I did.

Of course, DE continues to captivate me with their connection, and realness, and honesty.

I really don't know how the writers continue to raise the bar. Such a good show.

I agree. That was a perfect TVD episode.

the latest one left me a little baffled though. Not sure what to think about this new Stefan and not liking Elena very much...

i didn't really like this ep tho. i will save my rant for my lj if i can be bothered, but i hope next week is better...

i kind of forget which ep we were talking about now... but i think it's the one where maxfield turned Jesse into a vampire, which was all sorts of horrible in terms of PoC treatment. i also didn't like the whole Stelena + destiny crap that was being shoved down our throats - the whole Silas and Amara and their line of doppelgangers just seems so far-fetched and ridiculous. massive retcon

I loved it too, can't say the same about the latest one.

I don't know, it seemed off to me.
