Agreed! Buffy S6 wasn't great imho but Angel? Wow I was addicted!!!

I always loved Angel more than Buffy myself for the same reasons even though Buffy is still a favorite. I love that we share DA and X-files as two favorites as well.
Yep SPN is love no matter what.

Amazing! Hubby and I are also currently rewatching Angel and we just started the second disc of s3. I'd also forgotten how much I liked the show and how much better it all was from Buffy - for the same reasons you mentioned. Maturity, edge, darkness. Admittedly flawed, too (the Connor inanities, anyone? ...among other things) it is still one of those great shows I go back to.

I haven't started on s5 of SPN yet. I'm waiting to finish Angel again and then I'll catch up with all this years series and seasons (Fringe, SPN, NCIS, etc.) It will be better - I prefer to watch a couple episodes at a time when I am into a show :)

i adored buffy,angel my first baby david . i had the fan club black angel, i worked for a mag i wrote articles on angel.i loved dark angel. but i love lot of shows.
