After the screaming match he'd had with Sammy, Dean went looking for Alec. He hoped he could get to him before this all blew up on him unprepared.

He knocked on the door, but didn't actually wait for a reply before opening it. "Alec?"

Alec looked up at the sound of Dean's voice, tugging gently at a length of very expensive yarn that was wrapped around one of his jackets. "Yo! Come in, I'm just trying to, um. Untangle something."

In spite of the seriousness of what he had to tell Alec, Dean couldn't help but grin at the picture in front of him. "And you say you and Hunter have nothing in common."

Tyler's in New York, but he can still check his e-mail in the hotel's business center.

Which he does. His first instinct is to laugh; then he realizes this could be bad for Alec, since he didn't seem to want to broadcast the whole thing. Very bad.

He then picks up the phone and dials his roommate's number.

Alec actually heard his phone ringing and dug it out of his pocket, flipping it open to answer, sounding tired. "Yeah?"

Tyler almost said, "You've been holding out on me," but recognized it was probably not a great idea. He was very proud of himself.

"Alec? It's Tyler. I checked my e-mail from the hotel. You doing okay?"

After Rory checked her email, she took a look at the student directory, and made her way upstairs, where she lightly tapped on the door.

Alec looked up from where he was picking at the yarn and clothing ball, wondering if he should pretend he wasn't there. He finally sighed and went to answer the door.

"Actually I haven't," Alec said, shrugging slightly. "He didn't send it to me and no one forwarded it over. Dean brought by the printed files Sam sent out though."
