Dream last night

Mar 15, 2010 08:34

Last night I dreamed I was a human who died and was brought back by a loving AI mother who watched over me. She helped me eradicate my enemies that wished me harm and then we destroyed ourselves because we knew we could never exist in this world.

So I should die, or create an AI mother?

Unfortunately that involves a level of coding I do not yet have access to, and I'm not sure if I'm willing to learn. On the other hand, I would really love an AI friend.

Freud would be proud of your mother/lover revenge-suicide fantasy!

I try not to think too much about the mother/lover part, but on retrospect it almost felt like the mother/lover combo I always wanted. Almost like an ideal partner than anyone in particular. This might explain why she was always faceless even though I knew she was standing next to me in a body of her own making. Daria would probably be a closer connection, even if not literally.

The faces of the subconcious are often necessarily ambiguous, and we define them only in our musings and stories for that reason.

And now that I think on it, Jung is probably closer.

Okay so I had a dream a few days ago that I was a 38 year old Haitian man who was a single dad (I had a five year old son) and was trying to hire a prostitute who turned out to be Byonce. We all drove away in a go cart that was shaped like a hot rod.

some people say they don't remember their dreams at all, sometimes I wish I didn't either...

I don't always remember, but usually I do. Frankly I enjoy it when it isn't something mundane, especially because it gets me to think about what it meant or how it made me feel. I usually even like remembering the bad dreams...though if they have spiders you can bet I don't want to remember them.
