Book Log.

Dec 31, 2007 00:12

I've been inspired by Amy to keep track of what I read this year.  Sometimes I'll have a few books being read at once.  I don't have a lot of time to read anymore, but I'll go through spurts.  It should be fun just to see what I come up with at the end of the year.

Everyone Worth Knowing - Lauren Weisberger

I still haven't checked it out! I've been so busy. I'm going to though, as soon as I am near the bookstore and think about it :-x
I'm always looking for more things to recommend to tourists.
And no, thank gods, I got my license six years ago, when everyone had a copy of the test that we just had to memorize. We were training two new guides, one failed four times, got it on the fifth, and the other just gave up after the first three tries. The new test is fairly ridiculous!

Yeah, Shannon, a friend of mine, just squeaked in under the old rules, 'cause she had started the process the old way.
Which of the ghost stories books do you use? LOL, I think there are at least a dozen!
I'll be in Savannah this weekend, but I won't get much chance to move around. I'll have to wait for a pint of pear cider at Molly's until next time
*sigh*

I use Jamie Caskey's book...Haunted Savannah I believe it's called? It seems to me to be the least fabricated of the books I've read.
Mmm, Pear Cider. Molly's is my favorite. It's probably my favorite food in city market...I've gotten sick of everything else.
Are you here often?
