Summary: More facts revealed. JaeChun friendship. Just what is going on?
ch.1 Jaejoong was breathless when the mouth covering his was removed.
"You're beautiful."
'So they tell me'. A vain thought, but he was so sick of these unoriginal lines. It was even slightly better when that one guy last week said he gave off a, what the Americans would call, a "dumb blonde" vibe. Slightly insulting, yes, but oh how original. "How about we do less talking?" The problem solved.
It was morning when Jaejoong returned to the apartment. He found Yoochun sleeping on the couch, pen still in hand. Walking over he noticed the music sheets on the floor, evidently dropped when by the man when he fell asleep. He picked up the top sheet, smiling as he saw the word "Fin" written at the bottom.
"You finished it." He said it more to himself than to the slumbering Yoochun.
He carefully tiptoed his way to the couch, carefully avoiding the other sheets blanketing the floor. His eyes moved along the paper in his hand, reading the notes written on evenly spaced horizontal lines. The song played in his head - a sad love song. But then again, all of Yoochun's songs were songs of lost love. There were never any words needed, just the notes gave off a feeling.
Jaejoong looked over at the piano. His songs were different from Yoochun's.
------------
Drowning... he was drowning.
Could he really drown?
He found himself surprisingly calm, his body lax waiting for a response. There was a faint noise - he couldn't hear it with the water in his ears. His brain somehow registered that there was some pain. Was it his lungs filling with water No, the aching came from his heart. His hand clutched at his heart as he let out a silent scream.
Yoochun awoke to the warmth of another body on his legs. He opened his eyes slowly to adjust to the light. Jaejoong was sitting on the couch with him, reading his latest completed work.
"So who is this for?” Jaejoong apparently knew he had awakened.
"The title of the song." Yes, all of his songs were titled after the person whom it was dedicated to.
"It's sad."
"All of them are."
A comfortable silence.
"So how many last night?"
"I don't even want to talk about it."
He pushed himself up to sit next to Jaejoong, slowly falling to lean on the boy's shoulder. "This is the punishment."
"Yeah."
"I don't really mind that much."
Jaejoong closed his eyes. "Me neither."

Junsu looked up at the bookshelf. The book was on the top shelf, he would have to get a stool to get it. He didn't even know where the librarian was. Tiptoeing, he tried to reach the book. The book was just out of his reach, he couldn't get to it. He was surprised when someone else reached up to get the book, handing it to him.
"Thank you." The boy was young looking, probably a university student. He smiled with a sweet innocence much like that of Junsu's.
"No problem, are you going to borrow that book?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty interested in it. You too?"
The boy waved his hand, still smiling though, "No, I'm atheist."
"Oh." Junsu believed in God and angels ever since that night.
"Can you contact me when you return it? It's kind of urgent."
Junsu nodded when a piece of paper was handed to him. The boy waved goodbye and left. He read the scribbled handwriting, surprisingly neat for that of a male's. Shim Changmin, and a cell phone number under the name.
He took a seat in the quiet library and flipped to the table of contents. Xaphan was said to have rebelled with Lucifer....
A/N: Okay I planned to reveal the MAIN background information of the characters that you need to know. But it seems to fit a lot better in Chapter 3... which I hope to have by Wed or Thurs(Eastern/NewYork time).
