Rane and Eliza
Y hallo thar, just thought I'd share a pair of sims today. I've been putting off updating my LJ for a few days (because I'm a lazy shit), but here are Rane and Eliza, two of my favorite new sims. I posted a picture of Rane in the Ladies Night thread at Irradiated Metro and she seemed to get a positive result, so continue on for some minor picspam and long sim bios...
Eliza

Rane and Eliza Jarick are step-sisters, and although they sometimes wish this weren't the case, they live together in a small cottage-like home on the outskirts of a big, largely populated city. Eliza (the stern-looking brunette) is six years Rane's senior, and as such, takes on most of the responsibility in the house. She's a level-headed vegetarian (and fortune sim) who enjoys cooking and gardening. Eliza is also very focused on her job as a natural scientist, which she takes extremely seriously. Naturally, she's a virgo. Turns ons: Hard workers, logical people. Turn off: Unemployment.
Rane, on the other hand, is a very free-spirited pleasure sim that hates structure or rules of any kind. She's somewhat of a tomboy who enjoys tennis and badminton just as much as a good horror movie. A vegetarian like her sister, Rane too enjoys cooking and works as a part-time chef at a trendy sushi restaurant in the heart of the city. She's been fired from the same job more than once, but her cooking expertise usually gets her re-hired soon enough (well, the fact that she's dating the owner probably doesn't hurt either). She's an Aquarius and her turn ons are fitness and good cooks. Her turn off is formal wear.
The beginning of their melding families happened when Eliza was five. Her father had died of cancer when she was just a baby, and it had taken her mother a long time to bounce back from the loss. But just when they were about to drown under a mountain of unpaid bills, Eliza's mother met and married a handsome zoologist named Liam Jarick, who saved them from poverty. Rane was born soon after they were married, and finally Eliza felt as though her family was whole again.
As the two girls grew up over the years, they often fought about petty things, but deep down, there was no real malice. They felt comfortable around one another, which was why they had decided to live together after Rane dropped out of college (or, flunked out, I should say...)
