"As always." Xemnas smirked as he took the ice cream bar from Saix's fingers, letting his own linger far longer than necessary. Saix grinned and sat back in his chair.
"Number Two tells me that he's found another potential..."
Xemnas wasn't listening. He was concentrating on licking his ice cream evenly, so it wouldn't drip. He vaguely noticed that Saix had trailed off, and gestured towards him. "Do go on."
"Ah..." Saix avidly watched as Xemnas delicately licked up the side of his ice cream bar. "...he's found another potential Nobody..." And he trailed off again, as Xemnas took a finger that had been dripped on into his mouth.
"Hmmm?" Xemnas looked up, finger still in his mouth. He smirked around it. "You were saying?" he said, a cunning tone creeping into his voice.
Saix flushed. Oh crap. "...I was saying, that Xigbar might have found..." Xemnas had returned his focus to the ice cream. Saix scowled. "...a large octopus, teal with pink spots, that he is currently using for carnal pleasure. Is that all right with you?"
"Indeed."
Saix frowned. "Are you listening to a word I'm saying?"
"Not in the slightest." Xemnas smirked back at him.
He sighed heavily. "You have a one-track mind, sir."
"Indeed." Xemnas nodded ponderously, then licked at his ice cream again. He didn't care for that sea-salt crap - chocolate was the only true flavor of any kind of dessert. "There are some things that require my full attention. Ice cream is one of them."
Saix pouted... then leaned forward and took the ice cream.
WHAT. "Number Seven. Give that back. Right now."
"Make me," he replied with a teasing smile.
Xemnas scowled. "No."
"Yes."
"No."
Saix thoughtfully took a taste of Xemnas's ice cream.
"NOOO stop that!" He took a step out of his chair, hands balled into fists. "Saix!"
"What~?" The Luna Diviner smiled mysteriously at his Superior.
"Give that back or I'll..."
"You'll what~?" Another long, slow lick.
Now it was Xemnas's turn to flush. "Stop teasing me."
"You'll stop teasing me?" Saix pouted. "Now that wouldn't be any fun."
Xemnas raised an eyebrow.
Saix waved the ice cream, supposedly in some kind of 'come-and-get-it' motion. Saix dropped the ice cream.
Xemnas stared at the ice cream.
Saix paled, and his eyes widened. "I'm sorry," he said quickly.

"I'll get you a new one," he added, concerned that Xemnas seemed to have frozen.
Then a slow smirk curled over his face. "No, number seven... that's perfectly all right."
"...What?" Saix frowned. He had expected the apocalypse, not forgiveness.
"I'll just take whatever is left... from you."
As their lips slid against each others, Saix smirked. Not that he'd intended to drop the ice cream, but other than that...
Fingers wound around the back of his neck, and Xemnas pressed him back into the chair.
...it was exactly what he wanted.
