My worst fears were confirmed today: I'm officially destined to be alone for all time. I've wasted enough time with diva-esque entries, etc etc. Bottom line: I'm fucking plastered, and I've just realized my cohort doesn't understand me. I've gotten, and I quote "Kris, don't take this the wrong way, but you're a weird guy." apparently I'm too weird

Kris, don't take this the wrong way, but you're not -that- weird. =) Just because you don't fit into some social circles, doesn't mean you won't fit into others. Never say you're destined to be alone. I said that when I was in highschool, and right now, I'm anything but alone. If your peers don't understand you, then it's their loss, not your's. Just because you can embrace a broader spectrum of peopld doesn't label you as insufficient, but maybe you're just a genius. So many legends were social outcasts and it was not until centuries later when others began to appreciate their intelligence and ingenuity. Your ability to look from different perspectives gives you the upper hand - though it may take a while for you to see that.

Keep in touch. I miss your "weird"ness.
