I heard once that in law school you start to write faster out of sheer necessity. Working on my Law and Economics paper last week, I thought back on that statement sceptically. In undergrad, I used to budget half an hour per page. That gave me time to research(if necessary), type and think. Today, I took an exam that I, for once, finished early ( Read more... )

That is particularly good, especially in an exam you were actually sitting... I think my record is 8 pages in an hour and a half, but I had the advantage of being on my own computer in my own room (not really any time advantage though - it was due three hours after I began it) and it was undergrad, meaning the papers probably aren't nearly as hard.
