Now, this is peculiar. What kind of floor do you currently have? I'm having trouble imagining what could be fit for habitation, but not for exercise...

I live in an old building and the floors are aging. Jumping up and down on them can be scary, the washing machine causes stuff fixed to the roof of the shop below to move! Old wooden floors moment!
