thank you:) writing up these 'stories for children' is an interesting experience very different to atually telling them in person.

thanks again!:)

I immediately remembered few of our folk tales aboun Never Laughing princess (she's always crying and wheeping and only the Hero could make her laugh and cure her and all the rest...

^))) grey clowns and awful puppets are great!

it's from 70th soviet children movie. entertainment a little bit like those clowns could arrange...

the poem says approximately the following:
"...And monsters of awful appearance
had grasped their poor little victim
and got him tortured,
they bite him
they throttle him
they put him onto ant's hill
and into the moor full of weird mosquitos
and finally poor little child wheeped:
oh, spare me, spare me, monsters,
I'll tell you where my Granny's treasure is buried
you could find it on the Pushkin square"

( I do not know why it was exactly Pushkin square - for rhyme in Russian, surely, but effect is really striking :)))

i hope it was entertaining, copying up from a dictaphone was - uh, - interesting... and a story for such young kids was fun to do, but i've never read one back before... i aint over impressed with it myself.
