I'm hardly ever happy with anything that I write. Very rarely do I feel: hmm I'm happy with this.
I've learnt to accept that. And on one the one hand it's a good thing, not being happy with your writing, because then you always challenge yourself to write better next time. You know what I mean?
BTW I am glad you're feeling good about your work last night. *g*
