over here and halfway there
alice standing on the stair
to inside out and anywhere

the smile of a cat
that looking glass gleam
the geometry of nonsense
her palace of dream

yeah it was fun sticking Alice in the middle of that - and they go well i think... maybe coz Escher and Carroll were both so into maths???
and thank you! :))

Is it stance that I just watched "Malice In Wonderland" and I've been privy to more than one Alice-related song and reference since then?

This is lovely. I'm glad my writing inspired this. And I reckon Alice in the midst of Escher makes a good counterpart to both pieces. :-)

And thank you for writing it. :-)

The one in my icon is probably my favourite Escher. Infinity and the mobius strip are eternally entwined in my mind and the picture in physical form was a fixture on the stairs of a home I grew up in once upon a time and not so many years ago.

wow - i would have loved such a house (sounds like Professor Chronotis actually, thinking about it!)

i once got an entire bus queue to make mobius strips out of their tickets. i am addicted to them (as many will sadly testify)!
