Well, it's a natural assumption when the barman gets in bed with you... and you are too drunk to realise it's your brother.

That was one of those sections that Dean got away from me when I wrote. It started off a nice, simple Dean sitting in the bar and then he started drinking without bothering to ask me first and suddenly he was three sheets to the wind and babbling randomly.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks. I liked writing that. I figure Sam and Dean are used to each other enough that Sam would have been able to work out from Dean's behaviour what was going on!

I was probably pushing plausibility a little with Dean not recognising Sam but I figured I could get away with it for the purpose of a laugh! And no-one is throwing stones yet so I think I got away with it.

Thanks for the feedback.

2 days and he hadn't told Sam!! Oh..Dean..LOL!

Drunk Dean was funny, but Sam deserves Sainthood for putting up with him ;-)

He probably started off thinking 'Okay, I'll tell Sam now... oh wait, I'll just check the journal again in case I missed something. No point worrying Sam for no reason' and so on until two days had eaten themselves up.

Sam definitely deserves a sainthood. Trying to watch out for drunk people is not fun!

Thanks for the feedback.

Hee I loved this line..Disney had obviously corrupted his brain. (because Disney most definitely corrupted mine) Loved the banter between the brothers. Dean not recognizing Sam and thinking the barman was being forward. Hopefully Dean survives his hangover and Sammy's wrath. Great chapter.

Disney is utterly corrupting. I once formed a whole theory on it, about how nearly every Disney movie had at least one dead/absent parent and it's all sugar-coated.

Have you ever read the Hans Christian Anderson version of The Little Mermaid? Because it's almost completely different from the Disney (and much better I think. No giving kids unrealistic expectations from life).

Thanks for the feedback.

No, I've never read this version, I've heard that it is different from the Disney version. I think I'll go and get the book so I can read it.

Just a little side note my sister's ex sister-in-law edited all the bad guys out of all the Disney movies so her kid wouldn't see them. I mean come on.. how demented is that?

This:

It was the previously unspoken Winchester rule. Their dad had always slept between Dean and the door and Dean slept between Sammy and the door.

Yes. So awesome.

Hmm, wonder if I should do a oneshot 'bout Sam's first night at Stanford when he realises there's no-one between him and the door.

Glad you liked that rule.
