It's Fox News though - they are anti-everything not conservative Christian - something even I know in UK (thanks to the Daily Show).
I thought they were being snarky but did qualify their statements - this is mild compared to other things said especially back in the heyday where wicca=devil worship.
I was around back in those days, too, and you are right. But still, I was shocked. Not only did they discount Pagans, but anyone who had ever played D&D and divorced women as well! (After all, how important could they be if they can't even hang on to a man?)
This is why I don't watch Fox news. My blood pressure can't take it.
I find it hard to believe that anyone watches the show. I just can't take Fox News seriously. Isn't it basically a massive Republican party lobby group more than anything else?
It is, but I think that my growing self-esteem as a Pagan is causing me to be outraged in ways that I may not have been previously. So far the comments have been "well, consider the source." I do. However, would even Fox News dare to say on television "oh, there aren't that many Jews, anyway, and they are all greedy old men in New York working in pawn shops" or some such drivel?
People still think they can get away with bashing Pagans because they don't see us as having any power, but we do. But we have to start taking ourselves seriously, first.

As well as no middle-aged, twice divorced women living in rural areas... which they also just flippantly discarded.
