Like I really need this...

My roommate has decided that she can't deal with (the apartment, me, sharing an apartment)? In any case, she's moving out in two months. So I need to find a new roommate for next semester. Arg. I really don't need this. I've got four hard classes, 20 hours of work a week, dealing with cooking, bills, jobhunting, and trying to have a life worth ( Read more... )

Eurgh. I'm sorry -- that sucks, and particularly in the middle of the semester.

Best of luck.

It's a month-to-month lease, because the complex is likely going to get torn down in a year or so. She has to give 60 days notice, but that's it.

Well, living with someone that inconsiderate would probably be worse, in the end, so she may be saving you from having to murder her later (just murder her now!)

But yeah, jerky in the extreme on her part.

I'm somewhat of mixed feelings about it. I don't really want to deal with getting a new roomie, but we never really got along. While I think that most of it is that she's just not used to having sharing living space with a stranger(she's married, and living here during the week to go to school, because she lives too far away). The fact that I'm a bit of a slob, stay up all night, and it's an old complex with few ammenities doesn't help either. I just wish she'd figured this out before deciding to live here.

Ick that sounds like a pain. I'd live with you :) ... if I didn't already live in another state.
