Dance Dance Revolution...

Since I can't seem to find time to do simple exercises or go to a gym, I decided to buy a DDR game (Dance Dance Revolution Extreme is what I got) and a Dance pad and started to dance the calories away. I can vouch that this actually kind of works.

Back in 2003, I lost 40 lbs. by playing DDR in my college arcade about 45 mins a day/ 3 days a week over 10 weeks. Mind you that this was on "heavy" and usually songs that were 7 feet or higher.

Don't trust the calorie counter on the game, cause it's really flawed, but keep track of your weight and you'll see a difference if you keep it up.

I look forward to hearing of your progress.

Thanks for the reminder. Yeah I should at least keep a record of my weight before and after.

Also, I don't think I'll be using the calorie counter for the game, not because it's flawed, but because I made an error in buying the game, it's the Japanese version! (can't understand half of what it's trying to tell me on that mode, heheh)

Anyways, it's DDR. Doesn't matter if its in Japanese or English, heheh.

I actually prefer the Jap versions of the game...

They're more true to their arcade counterparts as far as the music selection goes... and doesn't have the crappy covers of US songs to replace them
