A Different Kind of Western

Grad school is giving me some grief mainly because it is way too much work so I finally broke down and gave up on writing papers and reports tonight and instead wrote fic. I'd been wanting to write from Orihime's perspective again for a long time and figured that I might as well do it now because if I didn't have some fun I was going to go nuts. Or ( Read more... )

This story is so weird, but in a totally good way. <3

There were so many parts that cracked me up, especially the part about the hamster and how Orihime compared him to Ulquiorra. But I also loved the whole, uh, "seduction" scene and Orihime painting her room, and, and, and...

There is really a lot of quotable stuff in this fic, but I'll settle for this line:

Ulquiorra sat at the breakfast table and frowned at the pancakes but since this was normal for him Orihime guessed that this meant he was enjoying them immensely.

I love 'Hime's assumptions. XD

I've also read your other U/O fic and hope that you'll return again to writing this couple some day.

O.o wow, i don't quite know how to react to that...

It was weird, like, Orihime on crack or something, and it got both her and Ulquiorra killed. And Ulquiorra just going along with it, it felt like one of Orihime's fantasies: starts off all happy and cheery, and things gradually culminate in the horrific.

Such an interesting read, and so eerie.

OMG. THIS HAS REDUCED ME TO MUSH. Seriously. It's so AU that it immediately grabbed my attention, but at the same time it has an interesting way of characterizing Orihime and Ulquiorra. It's touching, but on crack. I mean, Orihime has to be even more ditzy here than she is in canon (at least, definitely recent canon) but there was something so insane about it... Just... love it. I could see Orihime dreaming this all up, it's so surreal. But so, so good.
