The World is Ending, but I’m Eighteen

It's for experimental fic like this that I wish I had someone to bounce ideas off of in real life. So that someone could say Gah! Stop jumping through time! or Pick a verb tense and stick with it! or Don't write entire fics in one night because they make no sense and then you get sick from staying up until 3 in the morning.Also... First time ( Read more... )

fic, the world is ending but i'm eighteen, naruto

I'm sooo crushed right now.
Just... gah.
Oh, Tenten. You're alive and filled with Joy!!

Is there a sequel? Please? Where Neji's all "BYAKUGAN!! Oh, I just sealed you into a rock, Kyuubi!! What now?" So the future's safe and he's the Hokage and Tenten is all, "Make good on your promise, ho!!" So they have kids and live happily ever after?

Please?

No sequel, unfortunately. :P I like where it ended -- the reader can fill in the rest as they desire! Besides, this way gets the point across a bit more. (I hope!)

Thanks for reading! :D

Oh wow. This is super-awesome! I nearly cried in the bit where she hugged Lee, and I LOLed when Lee said she was mysterious because nobody knew her last name. There is so much in here that I love. The image of Kakashi stumbling back into Konoha was really vivid and I really liked the scene with Gai watching the stars, and Neji at the campsite. I'm also really impressed (probably because I can't do it myself) that you did it all so well in first person. I don't think you need a RL person at all, you did just fine on your own!

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it! (Especially happy you liked the Gai and Neji scenes -- I was worried people would want less backstory and more sweet sweet apocalypse. ;)

(I almost cried while writing the Lee part at the end too. :P )

No, not at all. I thought the backstory was good. I mean, if it were the end of the world, you'd be thinking back a lot, and it sort of read more like it was the story of Tenten with the apocalypse tying it all together.

The Lee part was too sad!!!
