Disappointment

Okay, Amazon.com, what gives?   I pre-ordered my series 5 months ago, and  you didn't even bother to ship it today?  Why would you do that to me?!  Some people got it a day early.  I'll be lucky to get it next week!  I ordered Sherlock along with it; I don't know if that's having any impact on the shipping, but it doesn't seem like it should.

:(

That sucks hairy manballs!!!

Have you tried e-mailing their "customer service" department or something??

if you do a "formal" request to cancel your transaction due to extended timeframes in processing, they might be able to remove it manually and credit you that way so you can buy it elsewhere.

Either that, or demand they throw in a gift voucher for discount on your next purchase. It's only fair.

Pre-orders are pre-orders for a reason... SO YOU GET THEM FIRST!!!

If they cannot fulfill that request, then they shouldn't be offering pre-orders in the first place.

Total f***ers!!

Yeah, I'm not too pleased here. If I don't hear anything from them by the time I get home tomorrow, they're getting an unfriendly message from me...

That stinks =/ what kind of shipping did you choose? I sucked it up and paid a couple extra dollars for 2 day when I ordered, otherwise it wouldn't have arrived before next week. I got an email today saying my Sherlock is delayed a week, but they opted to send Doctor Who out without it on Saturday at no extra cost(hence getting it Monday).

I used the free option, but Amazon usually at least ships before the pre-order is officially released, so I don't get it long afterwards. They didn't even bother to let me know Sherlock was delayed. I didn't find that out until I read your entry.

I'm not thrilled by this.

I only ordered my Sherlock last week; maybe yours is still fine if they haven't notified you?

But either way I'd complain. Amazon is crap.
