Ponies & Postcards

Okay, one wingless flutter pony and one baby pony aren't that big. But for Goddess' sake, Mr Postman, did you have to shove the envelope in the mailbox? Because it was so hard to pull out. I was terrified that I'd do some grevious bodily harm to the ponies, but they seemed to have survived the abuse, protected as they were in their bubblewrap- ( Read more... )

Yeah, I can vaguely recall your postbox not being all that big.

When I get packages delivered they either throw it on the flowerbed near the post box, or leave it on the doormat to the front door. One time I had a package hidden in the flowerbed for several days ~_~

Usually they ring the doorbell and mostly someone's in, or they leave the package at the front door.

I suppose the smallness of this package tempted the postman into just shoving it into the mailbox. Either that or he was lazy to walk to the door. *sweats*

I once ordered a t-shirt online. My mailbox is pretty big and the package was big but still fit in the mailbox. So the postman dumped it in there. Too bad that day it was raining, I found it floating with the other mail.

They need to invent mailboxes that remain dry no matter what...

Since my only chore in the house seems to be to bring the mail in, no one else does even if it's raining.
So recently the mail has been really soggy...
