Yet another sterling example of why I am so sick and tired of the yutses selected to represent *MY* best interest...democratic process my ass.  Electoral college, go f*** yourselves.  And for you media pigs?!...I have no words.

Why is ritual behavior so important?

It is so much more than the 'ritual behavior' for me. My frustration is with fragmented information, sensationalist attitudes, the power of the media, the naivity of the public, etc. etc. etc.

The image is disturbing but I put it in the same category as images of skeletal starving children and abandoned shelter animals. Factual in the moment it was taken, this image captured exactly what the photographer wanted it to capture. Unfortunately, WE we are left to rationalize it's meaning and the author is unaccountable (and we ask for no explanation).

So, does that make an 'image' like this merely art?
