Anakin/Obi-Wan icons

Hm, so ... this is the first time I've posted icons that people might actually be interested in "borrowing." (Or maybe I'm wrong, and no one cares.) Anyways, if you want 'em, just give credit where it's due. Which, really, is LucasFilm and maybe Yahoo photos, not so much me. I did put the text on them, though. They're not terribly original,

Ha, thanks for the tip. :) Yeah, my whole universe is pretty Anakincentric ... also he looks very cute in the icons. Also I can use them to good effect when posting stories. And last but not least, I am not a Padmé fan, due largely to her inexplicable but determined support of a government that she has already said "no longer functions." Padmé of TPM? Kick-ass. Padmé of Eps 2 and 3? Inane and then amnesiac. Grrr. Such a disservice to a once-cool character.

I think her bizarre obliviousness in AOTC is a step too far. She has dinner with Anakin wearing a dominatrix outfit, then looks mystified when he confesses his feelings. She also straddles him in a meadow and acts like it's child's play. She's supposed to be older and wiser, but it doesn't really come off that way. Also, "to be angry is to be human" is not the best of all possible responses to a confession of mass murder. Anakin, at least, knew it was wrong ("I'm a Jedi; I know I'm better than this"), whereas Padmé seemed confused.

Hormonal could account for "oh, Ani ..." but I don't think it explains "so long ago, when there was no politics, no plotting, no war ..."

Which just leads us back to the epic fail of deleting her resistence scenes from ROTS. Damn it, that would have been so helpful to the plot ...

On the other hand, she is pretty badass with a blaster.

The first one is very interesting, shame there's no more details. ;)
The third is rather cute.
But poor Anakin in the middle, he'll have to see Obi-Wan for some therapy.
