I like the... uncertainty of this (and Anakin's fingering was hilarious - he's good at tinkering with things!) As I don't regularly read FFV I think a lot of the subtleties of characterisation were lost on me. I felt a little lost altogether, actually. I know this was erotica, but it didn't feel like it had a narrative beyond the predictable. But that's probably just me not seeing what you're doing with Anakin and Ryn's development.

Are you writing he!au happiness to avoid the darkness of 'Warlord'? ;)

This is the happyending!au, which means a sort of sidetrail from FFV. So really reading the FFV stories wouldn't have helped much? For whatever that's worth. As far as feeling lost and narrative structure - no, this is just PWP. The running theme of their relationship in the he!au is that there is this marriage contract that is severely restrictive sexually, and because they were sort of pushed into the marriage Ryn never quite forgets that Anakin didn't really choose her. So I guess the story might potentially make more sense if it's embedded in that context: but honestly I had no pretensions to storytelling here. Just some random smut on a Saturday afternoon
