*pulls hair* Oh, God. The paperwork. I can't imagine how I could possibly get this stuff figured out in time to graduate in September, mostly because the deadline for prelims of everything is at the end of March, and I don't even know what some of it is for or what order it has to be submitted in. It's a disaster, I tell you. WHERE ARE MY ADVISORS WHEN I NEED THEM???

I am sympathetic, though not empathetic; I am working on taxes and all my deadlines seem to be 2/28/11; things are under control, though.

Surely not a disaster? And is there any luck finding your new advisors?

Well, we're reaching the critical point at which, if I have this right, some of the stuff needs to be submitted in about a week in order for the other prelim stuff to be submitted by the end of March. But I'm not actually sure how some of it works, and I haven't had any guidance on, you know, any part of the process. Like, at all.

No, no luck yet - but I think the Media & Sex prof could become one of the three, if she's willing.

This was just hilarious. Palpatine obviously has a very large bedroom to accommodate all this are he loves to masturbate about gaze at. I foresee many art history students making lewd comments about the late Emperor.

And wow, the last one is just pure "creepy old man". I dare you to write a fic explaining THAT SCENE! It looks so wrong except obviously if it were me in the corset, then it would be aweso... shutting up now.
