Very nice. Though, now I'm wondering a) who she is, b)how she knows that Vader used to be Skywalker, c) how she knows that Vader has a daughter when he had no clue, d) how she knew that Leia Organa was that daughter, when Vader didn't.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. In answer to your questions:

a) This story is set in my Freefallverse, in which this OC is one of the major characters. Since I was writing from Leia's POV, it didn't make sense to explain all that, because Leia doesn't have any idea of it herself. So this mini-fic can be read two ways, depending on the reader's knowledge of the FFV.

Not at all what I was expecting and SO VERY COOL!!! And I have all the same questions about how Ryn knows about Leia and how she possibly conceals that knowledge from Vader, but also, does Bail knows that Ryn knows?

And you've really got to write a sequel, pleasepleaseplease because there's no way Leia can possibly let that realization that This Woman knows who her birth father was go uninvestigated can she?

I'm not sure what you were expecting, but I'm glad you don't seem to be too disappointed. You just said "Ryn and Leia," so I was like ... let's give it a go!

Can I just answer your questions in a fic? Or possibly in several? This snippet is actually canon for the FFV, so there is a lot more lurking in the back of my mind.

Oh, I just meant that I had this vague idea in my head of adult Leia and Ryn like the Luke and Ryn thing, just because of the Luke and Ryn thing, and then you gave me teenage!Leia and that was just so much cooler! Not disappointed at ALL!

Can you?? PLEASE! (And so much YAY for this being FFV canon, too!)

Hm, well, the thing is that if you don't specify, you get whatever vaguely-related thing happens to be wandering through my head at the moment, lol. But teenage!Leia needed to happen. Er. I think. (I did actually snigger aloud when I wrote the "next time, aim for the groin" line - the neighbors probably think I'm crazy.)

Leia and Ryn have a ... complicated relationship, let's say. :)

Leia's quick on the trigger in any U. Enjoyed the Whatever/whatsisname device, and the boy was chivalrous, so I'm guessing he was of upper class origin -- a prince? or attache's child?

That's Leia for you. Like a wizard, she is "subtle and quick to anger." Maybe more on the second part.

I didn't really sketch out a backstory for the boy: just that he is part of the uppercrust Coruscanti social scene.
