I've found that if I'm the only one putting any effort into the friendship, then something's not working. The one least invested in it tends to be the one in control, if you think about it.

Thinking about it you are right. The one putting the least effort in the friendship has control of it. Which is sad.

Right now we are finding ways to put off get-togethers with these people. So we can figure out everything.

I just don't want to be used.
