It wasn't all one paragraph, before Live Journal decided I needed to log in again. Grrrrrrr. I hate having to reformat a whole chapter!

It's fixed now.

Draft it offline in plain text, and paste it into the LJ post form (or use a command line client).

(I use HTML for that, but you don't need it for a novel.)

I did the former. I always paste into the html window then switch to the rich text window after importing text.

It normally works fine, but this time LJ made me sign in again, and it lost all formatting.

*grumble*

Well, Mist has made a point of noting that families of fireborns usually react just as badly. So I haven't confirmed that suspicion, yet anyway.

Poor Orchid! I'm glad she got away but bummer she's so sick.

Well, it was practically guaranteed that she'd get sick, both parents being fireborn, and many on both sides of the family besides. But yeah, it sucks to be that sick, especially alone and sick and afraid that someone who means you ill might be following, and especially when you're just a kid.

And just because she got sick doesn't mean she's Fireborn right? Because even non-Fireborns get sick with it??
