And got this review from @Dragonflae:

In a week when no one commented on my new chapter of Fireborn, this was particularly cheering!

Now, I have to reread the sf-horror script that's due tomorrow and send it off, and write something for # ( Read more... )

Nice compliment! Congratulations!

I hope you got the darned desk to cooperate. I hate it when something jams because I tend to break it trying to fix it, even if I do try to be careful. And that was before I started the hormones. I definitely break things now if they get stuck/jammed. :(

I waited for My Angel, who is more prone to breaking things, and then when I went to show her where the bit of wood holding it in is, it wiggled for me. So now, the shelf is out of the desk, and thus out of my way, and soon I must attack the inside of the desk with sandpaper, since even a thorough cleaning of both parts didn't let us slide it back in.

But I've told a friend that he may not, ever again, loan a tool to us and tell My Angel that "there's no way you can break this!" Never. Ever. Again!!!

That's good that you got it unjammed and the shelf out of your way!

I think I posted about the catch up I had with my manager and how I broke the chair leg as I sat in it? I've broken numerous keys of course and have managed to break a truck's parking break. It was one of those wire ones, and when I pulled it back to release it the wire broke and I was holding a handle attached to some wire.

LOL, and that was quite awhile before transitioning!

Hahaha, "there's no way you can break this" is a challenge! :)

My Angel doesn't treat it as a challenge, it's just that she feels safe with a tool if she "can't break it". And she's been on (the other) hormones for well over a decade. So yeah, it's certainly not all hormones!
