A Full Moon Card Draw

Jan 13, 2017 01:46

With the current state of politics, I'm feeling more need for insight and inspiration than usual, and I'm thinking my friends might also be feeling the same. So I'm going to try to schedule card readings more often this year, hopefully at least once a month at either the full moon or then new (or possibly both ( Read more... )

I would like a card please. Tip is sent. Going through a rough patch, back and forth from hospital due to partner's illness. A little round table by a winter garden with an afghan and hot chocolate is a delicious moment of peace.

No preference for deck.

By all means, come in, come in! It's hard when your partner's sick in so many ways, emotional and practical. I'll make the hot chocolate--I make it quite dark, but there's cream and sugar to add to make it as sweet as you like it. Maybe one of the cats will even come in for cuddles, though they are a little cautious with people they don't know ( ... )

Thank you! I love dark chocolate so I think I'll take it as is. I'll have to gently nudge the cats in another direction though, as much as I love them, I'm allergic.

...He looked just like the Hanged Man when I first saw him sitting upside down like that. I think I will go join him indeed.

"It's beautiful out here. I've been thinking about what it might mean that knowledge is blocked. There's one very obvious answer: before I convinced my partner to go to the hospital, he had a bad pain in his leg that had been increasing slowly, but we had no idea what it was or how to help it. Now we've had the doctors' insight, and scans have been done, and the answer and treatment is clear. But that's already happened, and I don't know why your message would be for something in the past.

"It's true, I don't know where to look next. If there is a different perspective, I'm still firmly right side up."

I fall silent and look around through the icy trees.

Maybe the blocked knowledge is blocked by the medical emergency rather than about the medical emergency? It's certainly possible that dealing with the medical issues took you away from or has distracted you from some other important thing.

I'm not at home until late Sunday night or sometime Monday, and the cards are there, not here, so unless you want me to experiment by drawing you a Magic-The-Gathering card (which I'd be happy to do, if you want), I'll have to draw your card when I'm in the same state as the Seddon Boulet cards.

(I didn't leave the house empty, or I'd have sent you a private message.)

Monday is fine; I'm not heading for Conflikt until Thursday. I hope you have fun while out and about.

Thanks for your patience, and for the tip!

I went to the March in DC. Lots of driving, and so many great people. And then, of course, lots of driving again. Enjoy Conflikt.
