I've been thinking of checking out #FutureChat on twitter for a while now. Today, I was finally at my computer during the chat. I'm sorry to say I was disappointed

I'm really baffled that people who want to spend an hour or more discussing how to use social media to reach new readers would all totally ignore a possible new reader while having a discussion out in public like that.

It seems both rude and counter-productive.
