Today is Sketchfest and I Have Painted

My porch. Well, part of it. You see, earlier in the season I scraped off an area of the porch that's more exposed to the weather than the rest and took the tail end of some oil primer and painted it. That, of course, left an unsightly white stain on the purple porch

Sadly, the rain has washed the new paint away. *sigh* It must have come in much earlier than expected.

Sorry to see that your hard work was washed away. I had been thinking you could claim it as an abstract mural. Something like: Grapes on Royal Velvet cape. Ala "Polar Bear in Blizzard", dontcha know?

It wasn't that hard, but still, I hate wasted effort. Oh, well, life is like that sometimes.
