And I really like it. I can't share it yet, it's for a contest.

Now I have to write a story to go with it.

At least I didn't already write the story--this person doesn't look at all like the person I was thinking migbt be in the story!

Exactly the same thing happened to me, one of my characters turned out looking totally different in his portrait, not a lot of re-writing involved but will affect the group dynamic in future.
